Robert Troup
Founder of brainstorm exchange, Robert has had a life long fascination with ideas, inventions and innovations. He is a serial entrepreneur who has founded multiple companies. Of those, the following are three companies as examples: Raw Genius - a creator of daily planners designed to stimulate creative thinking; Black Duck Fly Fishing Products - manufacturer of a line of fly fishing accessories that where well received in the industry with 140 retail accounts domestically, and a presence in 4 foreign countries; and grocerylistplus - a website that collected and published deals on groceries, coupon availability and information on pricing in the grocery industry for the consumer. He spent 8 years in the chemical industry as an environmental toxicologist and is also currently a partner in Troup Real Estate Auctions, LLC.He holds a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University, and a Masters of Science in Environmental Toxicology from Clemson University.
He competed in the Summer of 2007 in seven sprint triathlons - the Wheelie Fun Series - in Ohio and placed first in his age class for the series overall.
